NEW YORK THERAPIST | LICENSED MASTER SOCIAL WORKER
Cheyenne Lewis, LMSW
I believe therapy should be a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Using a strengths-based and solution-focused approach, my goal is to ensure you feel valued, heard, and supported through life’s challenges—no matter the circumstances. I’m committed to building a trusting, compassionate therapeutic relationship and walking alongside you every step of the way.
As a Black woman therapist, I understand how important it is to feel truly seen—not just as an individual, but within the context of culture, identity, and lived experience. I strive to create an inclusive space where people from all backgrounds feel respected and understood. I use evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Motivational Interviewing. I have experience working with individuals managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, and adjustment related concerns. I also support clients navigating identity exploration, family issues, social stressors, and self-esteem struggles.
Therapy can be a vulnerable experience for individuals, and the relationship you build with your therapist is extremely important. If you’re curious about working together, feel free to reach out—I’d be honored to join you in this process!
